Honor Grid Solutions LLC is a California-based energy resilience and BESS compliance consulting firm. We were formed in May 2025 to occupy a specific opening: the technical compliance scope California's regulatory environment has created faster than the consulting market has filled.
What we do and what we don't.
We are a compliance consultancy, not an engineering firm. We produce Hazard Mitigation Analyses, support pre-application fire authority consultations under SB 283, oversee commissioning against permit commitments, and managing the AHJ relationship on BESS projects. We do not sign design drawings, stamp engineering documents, or serve as engineer of record. That scope belongs to the licensed professionals our clients engage directly.
This boundary is deliberate. It lets us move fast, stay affordable, and focus on the compliance deliverable the market actually needs — without absorbing the overhead and liability structure of a stamping engineering firm.

Luke Mosbey — CEO and Managing Member
Luke founded Honor Grid Solutions in 2025 after serving in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Data Systems Administrator before being selected for MARSOC (Marine Forces Special Operations Command), serving as a Special Operations Capability Specialist – Communications (SOCS-C) — work that demanded synthesizing dense technical information correctly, under pressure, with no margin for error. He holds compliance work to that same standard. Following service, he completed engineering coursework at the University of Southern California and the East Los Angeles Skills Center PV installer program, and served on the NAVFAC Engineering Internship program as a project team lead.

We verify every statutory and regulatory reference against primary source before it enters a client deliverable, and we document what we verified and when.
